Barangay Mangero is one of seven barangays in San Andres, Quezon Province. This barangay, which is situated far from the town proper and closer to the seashore, is home to 1,879 people. The road heading to their community is paved and accessible by any means of public transportation. The villagers' primary source of income is farming. Despite difficult circumstances, everyone strives to live a better life.
A large number of Filipinos earn a living in agriculture. Despite the country's richness in natural resources, Filipino farmers continue to endure poverty-related issues. Among them are farmers from Barangay Mangero. Due to the rigours of farming, their wives desire to support their husbands by raising goats as an additional source of income. But because of their meagre income, they cannot save money to buy a goat. They utilize the money they earn through farming to cover their debt and daily costs.
Help the women of barangay Mangero support their husbands to combat poverty by raising goats as their additional source of income. The beneficiaries of this livelihood project aim to breed the goat and share its offspring with future beneficiaries so they can rear and breed other goats. Through this, they can progressively help each other earn enough money to save for a better future.
This fundraising effort aims to assist ten farmers' wives in raising and breeding goats. The proceeds of this campaign will be used to purchase live goats for the recipients of this project. This campaign will have a significant impact on the lives of those who benefit from your generosity. By supporting these fundraising efforts, you can make a difference in the lives of our farmers. Together, we can end poverty.
