Education

By providing a comfortable and structured learning environment for students in the fifth grade at Bukal Elementary School, you will be able to assist them in improving their learning skills.

Bukal Elementary is located in Barangay Bukal, Tiaong Quezon. The school was established in 1950 and is one of the oldest elementary schools in Quezon Province.

Bukal Elementary School adopted modular distant learning during the pandemic. Because of this, the school's priority is the printing materials for the students' modules, which is why the budget allocation for the PPEs and MOOE is only enough for school fees. Due to a lack of funding to renovate the facility, the school was unable to restore the classroom when it required extensive repairs for the on-site lesson. The school sent a request letter to the LGU to seek financial support for the classroom renovation, but there is not enough funding from the LGU to meet their request.

One of the fifth-grade classrooms was constructed in 1990 and hasn't undergone any renovations. The roof has deteriorated due to a natural calamity. Termites have destroyed the ceiling, and the heat and rain have caused the steel to tarnish. Since their rooms were unsafe, the students were temporarily using the school stage. The noise and the unpredictability of the weather make the students feel uncomfortable, which makes it difficult for them to concentrate on their schoolwork.

The school is the second home of the learners. And the teachers are their second parents. Being second parents, they aim to give their students the quality education that every student needs. The teachers are asking for financial assistance for classroom rehabilitation to provide their students with a quality education and ensure their safety.

The proceeds of this fundraising campaign will go toward renovating the teachers' and students' run-down study space. Refurbishing the outdated classroom will help the students focus and study harder. It will also help them boost their confidence and reduce tardiness once their classroom is remodeled and safe to use.
