GK San Nicolas Punta Dumalag is a community located witihin Barangay Matina Aplaya in Davao City. It houses 48 families with an average of 6-7 members, amounting to a total of 300 individuals in population. Because of the lack of resources within the community, it has been very challenging to provide for each household, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic came about. Apart from members of the households losing livelihood, some households within the community don't even have kitchen equipment to prepare their own food.

Nevertheless, residents of GK San Nicolas have found ways in order to ensure that the children in the community never go hungry. through the initiative of the local leaders and the sacrifice of the adults, they would come together to share resources as a community and conduct feeding programs for the children. They are even happy to extend their feeding program to neighboring communities who are also challenged by the ongoing pandemic.

Through this project, the community in GK San Nicolas aims to raise enough funding in order to procure kitchen equipment for their community kitchen. This communituy kitchen will cater to the families within the community and also their neighboring community. This assures them of a more stable and consistent feeding program as they will no longer have to depend on the availability of kitchen materials from families and neighboring communities. The total amount needed for this project is PHP 42,233.00
