"Barangay Kalilayan Ilaya is one of the more known barangays in Unisan, Quezon because of the beautiful beach located here namely the Malatandang Beach. There are several resorts located in the area allowing the visiting tourists to enjoy this community’s beautiful natural resources. The residents in the area are mainly engaged in copra farming and fishing to provide for their respective households.

While the community is known to tourists, it has not yet been fully developed as the 330 households residing there have no health center for medical needs. They are temporarily utilizing an existing office space to store medical supplies for immediate needs. However, even the medical supplies are insufficient to cater to the number of individuals needing them.

The local government is currently planning to construct a dedicated structure for the health center. This fundraising project aims to raise PHP 37,878 in order to replenish Barangay Kalilayan Ilaya’s medical supplies and be able to help the locals address their medical needs as their local government unit works towards building a medical facility.
